Vincent Battipaglia

President

Vincent currently serves as Partner of Top Propect Group (“TPG”), the premier IT staffing firm in the tri-state marketplace. Vincent’s prior experience in Information Technology has proved invaluable to his success. Prior to joining TPG, Vincent held senior positions at Alden Staffing, AT&T and MCI International. Vincent earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Western Connecticut State University.

John Taaffe

Chief Technology Officer

John Taaffe is responsible for all technology initiatives at Alden Technology Partners including the design, delivery and support of client solutions. The hedge fund community has been at the center of John's 12 year technology career. He served as the first IT Manager at SAC Capital Advisors, a hedge fund with over $4B in assets under management. In this role, John designed and supported the technology that enabled SAC's rapid growth into a firm whose trading activity represented a significant portion of the NYSE daily volume. Prior to SAC, John was a Senior Systems Engineer at Hedgeware, a provider of portfolio management software for hedge funds. He also served as an engineer for GE Capital. A graduate of St Thomas Aquinas College, John holds a BS in Mathematics and CIS.
